n 9-11 2001, our son Brian was tragically taken from us in the World Trade Center disaster. Brian was a New York City Firefighter assigned to Rescue 1, Manhattan. Though his loss is overwhelming to his family and friends, it is our wish to share his love and memory with a truly worthy cause.

he Brian E. Sweeney Memorial Fund generates its support through individuals,
organizations and various fund raising activities.

Our Mission:
We are a not-for-profit organization that helps technology dependent children. These are children that are disabled, coupled with complex health care needs.

• We intend to purchase necessary equipment not covered by Medicaid, insurance,
  or for uninsured individuals; also, special equipment.
  
• All forms of assistance will be paid directly to the provider of the services.
  
• It will not be commonplace to offer cash to families
  
• The fund is not capable of handling on-going medical costs.
• All assistance will be on a case by case basis, i.e. available funds vs. amount of requests.
